TOUCHSTONE HONORED FOR INNOVATION AT
2008 MIAMI BOAT SHOW

Long Lake, Minnesota – February 20, 2008 TouchStone Accent Lighting®, along with eight other marine manufacturers were honored last week for innovative achievement by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Boating Writers International (BWI) at the 67th Annual Miami International Boat Show. TouchStone’s H2 LED Dock, Marina and Pier Lights took home the Innovation Award in the Consumer Installed Docking and Fendering Equipment category.

According to Mark Hanson, President of TouchStone, “Our marine-grade H2 LED fixtures were created to provide an extremely energy efficient marking device that could also accommodate a standard 10 inch cleat as an option.” He added, “We were very pleased that the NMMA recognized this product as being innovative within the industry, as well as having benefit to the consumer.”

Available in either solar / wireless or 12 volt versions, H2 products illuminate docking access and walking surfaces of docks, marinas and piers while helping to reduce light pollution. The uni-body design provides a one-piece, rugged chassis that can withstand the demands of a marine environment and, H2 LED technology is maintenance-free and significantly reduces operating costs when compared to conventional lighting systems.
